STRATEGIC PRIORITIES
To support our Mission and Vision, we are committed to the following strategic priorities:
- maintaining programs that meet the highest professional standards and expectations;
- being the premiere performance/ exhibition/ arts education center in our region;
- achieving ranking in the top tier of fine arts colleges nationally;
- being a leader in international programs;
- continuing to align our activity with the Mission and Vision of the University;
- being responsible, cost-effective stewards of our resources;
- increasing success in identifying and securing funding support for the College;
- increasing success in identifying and securing professional placement opportunities for our graduates;
- achieving recognition locally, regionally, and nationally for the excellence of our programs, performances, and research;
- developing systematic community outreach and strategic partnerships which enhance the quality of life and economic vitality of West Virginia, consistent with the University’s Compact with the State of West Virginia.
